India to go the UP way!

Most politians here hav two homes, when their party is in power they stay in MLA quaters n when not in power then the jail roofs give them shelter. A state run by criminals.

TOI 22/06/06 - tried to bring out the real scenario of the state, ppl here want their trials 2 b held outside the state, coz they have no faith in the system of the state (Madhumita Shukla `s family for example)

A selective few are above law here. Politians only face a trial when they are not in power. No one questioned Amarwani Tripathi(former minister) as long he was in office.
Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav on 20th june 2006 said`UP polls will decide the future of the country in which his party will play a major role`. uh!

Made hellova state now aiming for the country.

A State which is not even safe for a top politians wife (Meher Bhargava) who was killed by Sachin Pahadi in broad daylight and that too within 100 mts of SSP`s residence. The plight of the common citizens can well be imagined.

All Public work projects are stopped as soon as the intiating party goes out of power. The Sadar flyover is the case in point, the construction of which was stopped as soon as tha previous govt. went out .

The total lack of concern from the authorities can be seen from the fact that no sign of warning of incomplete construction was put up on this very fly over due to which a youth lost his life. The apathy of govt. regarding the woes of the public is becoming only too apparent.

The icing on the cake was when 100`s of people were burnt alive at Meerut in an exibition. All this because of the `chalta hai` attitude of the authorities and if this was not enough, the govt odered bulldozers to be run over the bodies,so as to suppress the actual number of deaths.

This state is called `Uttam Pradesh ` by our honourable Chief Minister.

Reservation Policy of d Stupid Govt

There is a saying dat 2 wrongs do not make a right, if 4 centuries the lower caste has been supressed, humilated n exploited by the so called `upper class`, then in the modern enlightened world following the policy of reservartion will not make up 4 the wrongs done by the people of the yester years.
The policy of reservations was adopted by the framers of the constitution as a temparory step to uplift the lower class, keeping the picture of british india in mind, but things have changed today. Upliftment of lower class at the cost of the upper class will ultimately lead to the supression of the upper class and this is a viscious circle that best be avoided. Giving benefits to one section at the cost of the other is a violation of article no. 15 and 16 of our very constitution. Reservations are dividing up our society into the general category and superior category(SC)
Even after 60 years of independence instead of moving towards the egalitarian social structure, we are moving backwards.
Merit should be the sole criteria for the selection of a candidate and not his caste or religion. Once the candidate proves his talent and qualifies the entrance exam thereafter the govt. is free to provide any help it wants. Therefore the sole consideration should be financial backwardness and not social backwardness becoz it is the financial backwardness that is the root cause of social backwardness.
By reserving seats govt. is engaging in popular politics and nothing else. There are so many other ways by which the govt. can uplift those lower classes but ya sure dat would have required much more effort, vision and dedication by our honourable Arjun Singh, but i guess his age does not allow him.
What if 2morrow other sections start demanding reservations for themselves, what has the govt thought bout dat
